Athletics

Pierce College offers six intercollegiate sports: men's and women's basketball, men's soccer and baseball, and women's volleyball and softball. Pierce participates in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges.

Located at Pierce Fort Steilacoom and Pierce Puyallup, the Health Education Centers offer workout equipment and facilities, showers and locker rooms, fitness and wellness classes, and more.

Student Counseling

Student Counseling

In an effort to address the variety of needs of all students, Pierce College provides mental health services to enrolled students at each campus and all off-site locations. Counseling services are free to enrolled students.

Pierce College offers opportunities for students to be involved in concert band, orchestra, and choir, vocal jazz, jazz ensemble, theater, the annual literary magazine, student newspapers, and the campus art gallery at Fort Steilacoom.

If you have an interest, there's probably a campus club you can join. And, if there's not, we can show you how to start your own club! In addition, Pierce has chapters of Phi Theta Kappa, the national honors society for two-year colleges, at both main campuses.

Both main campuses have student leaders who represent your interests in college decision-making. Get involved or meet your representatives by visiting the Office of Student Life on the fourth level of the Cascade building at Fort Steilacoom, or the Office of Student Life on the second floor of the College Center at Puyallup.

Conversation Partners

Conversation Partners

Conversation Partners matches native English speakers with students in an English as a Second Language (ESL) class. The partners commit to meeting at least once a week, on their own schedule, for cultural exchange, conversation, and friendship.

The Milgard Child Development Center at Fort Steilacoom and the Garnero Child Development Center at Puyallup provide nurturing, research-based care and education for young children.

Dental Clinic

Low-cost preventive dental care is available to students and members of the community at the Pierce College dental hygiene clinic, located on the Fort Steilacoom campus.

Food Services

Food Services

There's no need to venture off campus for a meal. The on-campus cafeterias offer fresh deli sandwiches, soups, hot specials daily, and grab-and-go quick meals for students on the run.
