PierceTV - Home

PierceTV is a program featuring students and staff at Pierce College, hosted by Pierce students Jennifer Whited and Danny Priest and produced by the Digital Design department.

It is broadcast on Comcast Cable channel 28 every evening at 7:30 PM. Each episode repeats throughout its broadcast month. You can also catch episodes on YouTube or right here!

April

The late spring edition of PierceTV has our hosts, Catherine Peterson and Ryan Burkholder presenting a tour of the newly open Rainier building with Ralph Morasch from the Pierce College Fort Steilacoom Science department. This episode also includes Digital Photography, 2D and 3D Animation from the Digital Design department, Drawing and Painting from Ann Schuster's art classes, Greg Brazell and Krissy Kim from Early Childhood Education and a segment with Dental Hygiene instructor Kathy Bassett and guests Dr. Mark Friedman and Dr. Mark Hochman.

Early Spring

The early spring edition of PierceTV has our hosts, Catherine Peterson and Ryan Burkholder presenting a segment on Sunny Young, the Yoga and Zumba instructor at Pierce College Puyallup. This episode also includes Digital Photography and 3D Animation from the Digital Design department, Drawing and Painting from Ann Schuster's art classes, Dramatic Interpretations from Patrick Daugherty's drama students, images from Raider Baseball and Fastpitch as well as segments with Advising Center's Monica Nucciarone and the Library's Christy Flynn.

Winter Edition

The mid-winter edition of PierceTV has our hosts, Catherine Peterson and Ryan Burkholder presenting a segment with Dr. Tana Hasart, President of Pierce College Puyallup, on the new Arts and Allied Health building opening up later this year. This show's Meet the Instructor segment features Tom Link from the Pierce College Fort Steilacoom Psychology department. Also featured this episode is an interpretation of a classic rock song, Bohemian Rhapsody, from Patrick Daugherty's drama students, photography from Dorene Paulson's Digital Photography and Adobe Photoshop class, 3D animations from the Digital Design department and a slide show of this years' Raider Mens and Womens basketball teams.
