The basics

Using technology, eLearning allows you the freedom, control, and flexibility to earn a degree or certificate on your schedule. We bring the classroom to you and give you the freedom to take charge of your education.

Through the online campus (Angel), you're able to connect to classrooms, teachers, and classmates.

Learning is interactive and you're able to participate in discussions, collaborate, and receive feedback from teachers and classmates.

Types of classes

  • Online classes. These classes are available anytime, from anywhere, using web-based software (the Angel system). Good study and technology skills are recommended for success.
  • Hybrid classes. These classes combine the best of the traditional classroom with a strong online component. Study and technology expectations are similar to those in online classes, but you meet in a traditional classroom about half the time.
  • Flexible schedule classes. Enrollment follows the Continuous Entry model, but remains dependent upon space availability (limited # of "seats"). Classes are taught on a self-paced, independent study basis.
  • Web-Enhanced classes. Traditional face-to-face classes are combined with web-based components (using the Angel system) for homework resources and outside-of-class communication. You still meet on the normal class schedule.
