For most students, paying for college is their biggest concern. Thankfully, most students won't have to go it alone. Financial aid, through grants, loans, or scholarships, makes education possible and affordable. Financial aid can come from local, state, and federal sources, but there are some basic eligibility requirements.
To receive financial aid at Pierce College, you must:
If you are applying for financial aid for the first time, you must complete a Pierce College Financial Aid Orientation Session before your application can be reviewed. Someone from Financial Aid will contact you if you are required to complete an orientation session.
Some programs have requirements beyond those listed above.
Pierce College accepts financial applications from January 2010 through June 2011 for the 2010-11 academic year. For maximum consideration, it is recommended that you submit a financial aid application and all supporting documents prior to May 1, 2010.
Please apply at least 6 weeks in advance.
